FOCUS
Keith’s vision for a Culture of Health is rooted in the development of healing literacies where reflective art practices and transformational relationships build possibility, agency, and power through arts, performance, play, and everyday intimate conversations. Keith works with artists and communities to develop counter-narratives and cultures of hope and healing by co-creating dynamic, intergenerational, and cross-cultural safe and brave spaces that name oppression and use arts, culture, and action-based research to analyze, reimagine, and devise paths and processes for healing, growing, and thriving through trauma, together.

STRATEGIC INITIATIVE: (MoveMe)nt: FEEL (Me) to HEAL (We)/Reimagine Masculinity
The hope is that this initiative will expand and be scaled through Healing By Any Means, LLC, my organization dedicated to powering people, projects, and healing-centered research at the intersection of arts, media, and culture and narrative change.

MORE ABOUT KEITH
Keith’s 10+ years as an award-winning educator, storyteller, artist-researcher, and village-builder/raiser have led to the development of his Healing Literacy Framework and an ever-growing realization of the arts as a transformative practice for reimagination, world building, and action. As deputy director of strategy and program effectiveness at the Deep Center and founder of Healing By Any Means, he continues to explore and support the many ways those closest to problems often are the closest to the solution.
