Over the years, many people and organizations contributed to the Culture of Health Leaders program. We thank all of them for their dedication to our participants and passion for advancing health equity.
The Program Over the Years
The Program Over the Years
Starting in 2016, CommonHealth ACTION collaborated with the National Collaborative for Health Equity to launch the Culture of Health Leaders program, supporting leaders in advancing health equity. Over the course of seven years, the National Program Center has selected and curated five diverse cohorts of 198 leaders in total.
Throughout the three-year program experience, each cohort actively engaged in online learning, executive coaching, network development, peer-to-peer coaching and in-person experiential learning, all designed to grow their leadership capacity and expand networks of health equity leaders and practitioners. Leaders received annual stipends of $20,000 to use at their discretion and a $35,000 implementation award to support a strategic initiative to create health equity in a community, institution, or system.
